Discovering Your Authentic Self:
A Therapy Practice Dedicated to Root Cause Healing: Transforming Anxiety into Grounded Confidence
let’s be honest:
You can function through anything, and have been. But it’s been seeming more difficult lately and you wonder what’s the point?
On the exterior you are the role model or leader in many settings, but behind the scenes it doesn’t feel like that. Anything that requires external observation or accountability gets done, no problem. However, behind the scenes you are more checked out and disconnected from your own calling or even a regular outlet or hobby. Performing, or being there for others, is a full time job and you engage in this 110%. It used to fulfill you, and still does, but something isn’t the same. Dread or despair is a quiet visitor inside your head. Overwhelm and pushing yourself through the day are becoming more common. Things are slipping through the cracks like the long walks you loved, time alone to rest, or even the delicious and elaborate recipes you once made. Nothing specific is wrong, but this isn’t exactly right either.
If your version of adulting and parenting isn’t what you expected, let’s talk. Patterns of neglecting our true needs and wants are deep seeded and often started in the earliest parts of our lives. You are great at reading about all the things and have a fantasy, optimized morning routine already planned out but it rarely happens. It’s easy to blame the current circumstances as the problem but if you are willing to look closer, you’ve been living for years like this. It’s not about getting through the next stressor, it’s about changing your relationship with yourself first.
maybe you’re…
Feeling burnt out from the constant people pleasing and second guessing yourself.
Struggling to parent your own children sustainably when overwhelmed and overstimulated.
Curious why you push yourself to take on more while craving rest and a real break.
